The brand

Pitch has become one of the most recognisable names in indoor golf in the UK. Its venues bring competitive golf, relaxed socialising and a busy food and drink offering together under one roof, with a clear identity that carries across every site. The result is a space that works equally well for a serious round, a corporate event or a night out with friends.

That consistency is no accident. Each Pitch location, from the nine-bay Soho site tucked down Meard Street, to the original City build on Bishopsgate, to the larger flagship at Canary Wharf, shares the same look, feel and standard of finish. With venues now open in Manchester and Dublin, and a franchise model designed to take the brand further, Pitch needed simulator partners who could deliver the same experience at scale.

The brief

Pitch came to Golf Swing Systems looking for more than a simulator installation partner. They needed a complete simulator solution that could:

• Maximise the number of playing bays within premium city-centre floor space, where every square foot counts.
• Welcome both right and left-handed golfers seamlessly, without staff needing to reset equipment between players.
• Deliver accurate, engaging gameplay for everyone, from first-time visitors to low-handicap golfers.
• Integrate effortlessly into a polished, brand-led environment, with technology that complemented the venue rather than feeling bolted on.
• Create a scalable setup capable of supporting a high-volume commercial operation while maintaining a premium customer experience.

In short, the technology had to perform for golfers and look the part for a hospitality audience, across multiple sites and for years to come.

The solution

Golf Swing Systems utilised the TrackMan iO Duo across Pitch’s bays, with between eight and twelve bays per venue depending on the site.

The iO Duo is a dual-unit, ceiling-mounted system. Two TrackMan iO units sit slightly off centre above the bay, each with its own hitting zone and sharing the same screen. The software automatically recognises which side is in play and adjusts the aim line, so a righthanded and a left-handed golfer can swap in and out with no repositioning and no awkward stances. Because the system is built for bays as narrow as ten feet, it lets a venue like Pitch fit more bays into the same footprint without compromising on space to swing.

For a commercial operator, that combination is key. More usable bays per site means more guests served and more revenue per square foot, while the dual-dexterity design removes one of the most common friction points in shared simulator spaces. Guests get full TrackMan ball and club data, world-famous courses such as Pebble Beach and Wentworth, and a library of social games that suit all abilities.

Designed and built for the Pitch brand

Where this project goes beyond a standard installation is in the build. Golf Swing Systems did not just supply and fit the technology, we designed and manufactured key customer facing elements of each bay, including Pitch’s signature curtain walls.

These bespoke features are central to the Pitch look. They frame each bay, reinforce the brand at every turn and give the venues their distinctive, finished feel. Producing them inhouse meant the same standard could be repeated reliably from one site to the next, so a guest walking into Pitch in Soho, the City or Canary Wharf recognises the brand instantly. That repeatability matters more with every new opening, and it is exactly what a scaling, multi-site and franchised brand needs from a build partner.

The result

Pitch now operates a growing estate of venues that share a single, consistent standard of golf experience and finish. The TrackMan iO Duo gives every bay accuracy, inclusivity and an efficient use of space, while the bespoke build elements keep the brand sharp and recognisable across the whole estate.
