The Learn and Play Golf Academy contacted Golf Swing Systems with the idea to use the 3D Motion Golf Capture system as the main core of their coaching at their academy in Gran Canaria. This is used by their high end squads and the various coaches that come to the Anfi Tauro Golf Club where the LPGA is based.
The system was installed in an unused Full Swing Golf Simulator which was enough space to put the Motion Golf System into a 6M deep x 4.5M wide x 3M high space. cSwing was also installed with 2 cameras front and back and also the Swingia Balance Plate.
Mark Megeehan (PGA Professional at the LPGA) said “With this technology available it brings high profile low handicap golfers to the academy for intensive training. Video is great as a quick fix but doesn’t highlight everything that the body does as you don’t have a 360 degree view. With the Motion Golf System we can spin this in all directions showing X Factor, Centre of gravity, and compare good moves to the bad”.
LPGA are taking bookings for high intensive training to all golfers of all levels with a series of courses and sessions, offering accommodation at Anfi Tauro Gran Canaria. More details are available on the LPGA website or call 02081441550 for more details.
